Hydro-Lok Insulated Jacket

This jacket held up for me when it mattered most

"I bought the Hydro-Lok Insulated Jacket for duck hunting, but unfortunately it got put to a much more serious test. I was involved in a major ATV accident while off-roading several miles away from civilization in Oregon and ultimately had to be evacuated by helicopter. I was wearing this jacket throughout the accident and the several hours it took to get me to the hospital, and I genuinely believe it helped keep me warm and protected. I was even told afterward that the paramedics struggled to cut through it to remove it, which says a lot about how well it’s built. I reached out to Chêne afterward, and even though this obviously wasn’t a warranty situation, they offered to replace it for me. Between the quality of the jacket and the way the company stood behind their customer, I couldn’t recommend them more. Great product and an even better company that has made a lifelong customer out of me."

Performance

"I believe the Hydro-Lok has out preformed my Sitka Duck jacket. The H-L was warmer, more confertable, and more versatile. After Duck / Goose hunting I took it to Colorado skiing. It was a high of 20 degrees and with only a base layer and my H-L no problem at all. . . It's been worth ever dollar!"

Hydro-lok

"Hunted in some of the worst conditions Mother Nature could throw at us this year including an ice storm and stayed bone dry. I would like to see a little bit more flexibility around the shoulders and arm pit area pretty snug with anything underneath."

Duck hunt

"Warm everywhere on upper body except in arms. Could feel the cold when bending arms at the elbows but not a problem. Maybe another layer maybe. Hunted ducks in 18 degree mornings and very windy with major snow storm. Over all I was very happy. Never got wet and stayed over all warm. Was good at blocking the wind and really liked the camo design. Maybe put pockets behind the lower pockets as well?"

Perfect timber jacket

"Bought this as the leading competitor’s jacket was far from warm and had to wear multiple layers. This jacket is well made comfortable and warm. Minimal layering required. Tough material for briars and stood up to black locust thorns on multiple occasions. Highly recommend."
