The Network Inventory Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the right product is available in the right place at the right time across Chêne Gear's retail stores, warehouses, and other inventory points.
This role supports inventory accuracy, product availability, and efficient inventory movement throughout the network to deliver an exceptional customer experience. By maintaining disciplined inventory processes and resolving discrepancies quickly, the Network Inventory Associate helps protect customer trust, strengthen operational performance, and uphold Chêne's commitment to exceptional customer service.

Position Summary:
The Network Inventory Associate supports Chêne Gear’s commitment to building premium outdoor gear without compromise by helping ensure the right product is available in the right place at the right time. This role is responsible for executing, coordinating, and monitoring inventory distribution across retail stores and warehouses. The ideal candidate understands that inventory accuracy directly impacts customer trust, brand experience, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:
- Execute approved inventory distribution plans across Chêne Gear retail stores, fulfillment locations, distribution centers, warehouses, and other designated inventory points.
- Support a premium customer experience by helping ensure product availability, timely replenishment, and accurate inventory placement across the network.
- Coordinate inventory transfers between locations to balance demand, reduce stock shortages, minimize excess inventory, and support fulfillment performance.
- Collaborate with operations, planning, merchandising, warehouse, fulfillment, customer experience, and retail teams to support accurate inventory flow and brand consistency.
- Track inbound and outbound inventory activity, including shipments, transfers, receipts, adjustments, and related transaction records.
- Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation activities to protect inventory integrity and strengthen reporting accuracy.
- Research and support resolution of inventory variances, shortages, overages, missing stock, and system discrepancies with urgency and accountability.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to inventory movements, transfer activity, reporting updates, and issue resolution.
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory visibility, distribution accuracy, fulfillment speed, and overall network balance while supporting Chêne Gear’s standard of quality and trust.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or related coursework in supply chain, logistics, business administration, operations, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, retail operations, warehouse operations, fulfillment, logistics, distribution, outdoor apparel, or premium consumer goods preferred.
- Working knowledge of inventory movement, replenishment, allocation, transfers, receiving, and fulfillment processes.
- Experience working with inventory management systems, warehouse management systems, ERP platforms, or comparable business systems.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work accurately with inventory records, operational reports, transaction data, and system updates.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Work may be performed in office, warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment, and retail store support environments.
- Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, and handling inventory may be required.
- Ability to lift and move products in accordance with company safety guidelines and location requirements.
- Schedule flexibility may be required to support inventory counts, shipment activity, peak volume periods, and operational deadlines.

The Retail Store Manager is responsible for leading the daily operations of Chêne Gear’s Atlanta retail location, ensuring an exceptional customer experience, strong sales performance, and operational excellence. This role combines hands-on leadership, team development, visual merchandising, customer engagement, and ownership of store performance.
This position is responsible for creating a customer-first environment while developing a high-performing retail team that reflects the Chêne brand and culture. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and takes pride in building a premium customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop retail team members while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and brand pride
- Lead by example on the sales floor by delivering exceptional customer service and supporting daily store operations
- Set clear expectations and performance standards for the retail team
- Schedule staff effectively based on business demands, traffic patterns, and seasonal needs
- Conduct performance conversations, coaching discussions, and annual performance reviews
- Build a positive and engaging team environment focused on growth and customer experience
Customer Experience:
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience that reflects the Chêne brand and values
- Ensure every customer receives knowledgeable, personalized, and friendly service
- Address customer concerns and escalations professionally and in a timely manner
- Educate customers on Chêne products, warranties, repairs, and brand story
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and organized store environment at all times
- Actively guides the team in providing fully outfitted, personalized customer experiences.
Sales & Business Operations:
- Drive store sales performance and support the achievement of daily, weekly, and seasonal sales goals
- Analyze sales trends, customer behavior, and business performance to identify opportunities for growth
- Prepare reports related to sales, inventory, staffing, and operational performance
- Support inventory management, stock replenishment, cycle counts, and loss prevention efforts
- Monitor store expenses and support operational efficiency initiatives
- Ensure store compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards
Visual Merchandising & Brand Presentation:
- Execute visual merchandising standards that align with the Chêne brand experience
- Maintain seasonal product displays, promotional setups, and in-store marketing materials
- Ensure the sales floor consistently reflects a premium retail presentation
- Partner with leadership and marketing teams on product launches, promotions, and in-store events
Community & Brand Engagement:
- Serve as a brand ambassador for Chêne within the Atlanta market
- Support local events, promotions, and customer engagement opportunities
- Help create a retail environment that builds long-term customer loyalty and brand connection
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of retail leadership or management experience
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive sales performance
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused retail environment
- Experience with POS systems, inventory management, and retail reporting tools
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak retail seasons
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in premium apparel, sporting goods, lifestyle, or outdoor retail environments
- Passion for the outdoors, hunting, and/or waterfowl culture preferred
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify operational and sales opportunities
- Experience developing team members and building strong store culture
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed
- Comfortable working in a high-traffic retail environment during peak seasons
