"Hunted in the infamous Ice Storm of 2026 in a real feel of 6 degrees and was surprised at how warm the waxed canvas sweater kept me. I paired it with the sixty series and didn’t need anymore layers or I may have had to start shedding layers. Order a size down. I wear an XL in almost every other Chene piece but the waist on the sweater was way too loose for me. I was able to return it with no issues and had a Large at my door within 4-5 days. Highly recommend this piece."

"The Quality and warmth of this Sweater is awesome. Its provides rugged top with warmth throughout. Only recommendation is sizing down. Im 5'10 and 195lbs and a large was way to big in the belly and waist. Returned for a medium to provide a more snug fit to use overtop of my base layer."
"Overall it is quite well made. Fit is awful. I'm 6'00" 225lbs and ordered a large. I'm typically a large or XL depending on brand. The shoulders fit perfectly and the sleeves are a good length. The body is massive though. I will likely have to take it in to be functional. The sleeves are also quite narrow. I am not a gym rat by any means and they are tight to my forearms. Another disappointment is that there seems to be no wool in the sleeves at all. Under the canvas seems to be a light synthetic insulation and a synthetic knit next your arm. This wouldn't be as big of a deal except this doesn't seem to be listed anywhere and even the tag on the garment only lists wool and canvas. I really want to like this and am hoping that as the weather gets colder it will prove itself. I came really close to returning it though."
"This is a really well made sweater. Very warm. Has a nice lining in the arms to let under layers slide easily and not interfere with mounting a shotgun. Unfortunately, the sweater did not fit. For reference, I am a 46 chest, 38 waist. I ordered a large, which fit perfectly in the arms and shoulders, but was much too loose in the midsection. The return process was effortless though, so buy with confidence."
