Reviews

Hydro-lok

"I bought this to replace my other waterproof shell from Chene’s main competitor because I’ve always like the mossy oak patterns best. Definitely kept me warm and dry all day , I like that there’s plenty of length in the sleeves, I really like the front shells packets and the lined hand warmer pockets. The only two things I would say are a negative is a had to upsize ( I usually wear XL ) because it ran a bit small, and the zippers on the handwarmer chest pockets are really uncomfortable dragging on cold hands. Overall I like it a lot!"

Great Jacket

"Fits small and arms are very tight so size up. Once you get the right size it's an excellent product and color options a spot on. Wore in Greenland and did the trick."

Tyler L. (5/5)

Hydrolok shell

"Stayed dry but after hunting in rain/sleet all day the jacket became waterlogged and is hard to dry out. Multiple wet days in a row it loses the ability to keep you dry. I understand nothing is 100% waterproof but due to this I feel it is a bit overpriced. Also in the extreme cold the zippers on the pockets are very uncomfortable on your hands coming in and out. I’d rather it be a magnetic pocket and sacrifice the dry zipper. 8/10"

Great Jacket

"Bought the uninsulated and the over under to go under it. Perfect. I wear the hydro-lok over waders as a wading jacket and it works great. Great product."

Hydrolock

"This is the best jacket I have ever worn while hunting ducks and geese. It’s comfortable and super warm for how thin it is"

Deagan D. (5/5)

Soaked

"Very disappointed in my hydro lok system. Sat in rain this morning for 30 minutes, my jacket underneath as well as my pants were soaking wet. Water seems to seep through, not pleased with the performance."

Also a great Upland Jacket

"I chase upland birds probably more than waterfowl. This jacket makes a great upland bird hunting jacket. It's warm enough and blocks the wind and rain while still allowing it to breathe to keep you from sweating on all day walks behind bird dogs! If Chene were to develop a dedicated upland clothing line, this jacket would be a great place to start."
