
Wild Turkey Salad

Ingredients
- 1 wild turkey breast
- Salted water (for soaking)
- 2 medium red onions, cut into quarters
- 3-4 celery stalks, cut into large pieces and washed
- Salt (to taste)
- Pepper (to taste)
- Celery salt (to taste)
- Mayonnaise (Kraft recommended)
- Sweet relish (to taste)
Steps
- Soak the wild turkey breast in salted water for about 1 hour. Rinse and clean it

- Place the turkey breast in a large pot with the quartered onions and celery pieces.

- Add salt, pepper, and celery salt to taste. Add water to cover.
- Cook on medium boil until very tender.

- Remove the turkey from heat. Let it sit and cool completely.
- Shred/chop into small pieces or put in a chopper.
- Mix in mayonnaise and sweet relish until you reach your preferred consistency and flavor.

- Chill if desired, then serve.
